Pure Silk Kota Doria Hand Bandhej Saree — Genuine Hand-Tied Bandhani | Zari Border
This is not a Bandhej-inspired print. Every dot on this saree was tied by hand — individually, before dyeing — using the authentic Bandhej technique from Rajasthan. On pure silk Kota Doria, that process produces something genuinely rare: the lightness and open weave of Kota Doria combined with the depth and precision of real hand-tied Bandhani. The two crafts work together in a way that neither achieves alone.
Kota Doria's defining feature is its Khat — the open square weave that makes the fabric airy, breathable, and comfortable through long hours of wear. In pure silk, that weave has a natural lustre that cotton Kota Doria does not. The hand-tied Bandhej motifs sit on that surface with a clarity and texture that printed Bandhani cannot replicate. The zari border adds structure and a formal finish. A matching blouse piece is included.
Available in multiple colour combinations — select your preferred shade from the variants.
